HARRISBURG, Pa. (CBS) --- Pennsylvania voters will find candidates for state Supreme Court seats on the ballot, and a long list of candidates it is.

Six Democrats and six Republicans are vying for three Supreme Court seats that will be up for grabs in November.

On the Democratic side, the most recognizable name locally may be Philadelphia Common Pleas Judge Kevin Dougherty, the brother of union leader John Dougherty.

Former Pittsburgh Steeler Dwayne Woodruf, an Allegheny County Judge, will be known to voters out west.

Rounding out the Democratic ballot are Superior Court Judges David Wecht, Christine Donahue, and Anne Lazarus, along with Jefferson County Judge John Foradora.

The lone incumbent seeking to keep his seat on the state Supreme Court is Republican Correale Stevens.

Superior Court Judges Judith Olson and Cheryl Lynn Allen, Adams County Judge Michael George, Commonwealth Court Judge Anne Covey and Montour County DA Rebecca Warren are also on the GOP ballot.
