LeBron James Taking Talents Back To Cleveland
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Fans are rejoicing in Cleveland. LeBron James will be leaving the South Beach sunshine to head back north to play for his hometown Cleveland Cavaliers.
James announced the decision in an essay written for Sports Illustrated.
"Before anyone ever cared where I would play basketball, I was a kid from Northeast Ohio," LeBron wrote for SportsIllustrated.com. "It's where I walked. It's where I ran. It's where I cried. It's where I bled. It holds a special place in my heart. People there have seen me grow up. I sometimes feel like I'm their son. Their passion can be overwhelming. But it drives me. I want to give them hope when I can. I want to inspire them when I can. My relationship with Northeast Ohio is bigger than basketball. I didn't realize that four years ago. I do now."

James spent seven years in Cleveland before leaving to win two NBA titles with the Miami Heat. James is now heading back for some unfinished business.
Reports began swirling over the last few days linking James to a possible return to Cleveland. James met with Heat President Pat Riley on Wednesday, but left the meeting without a commitment to the Heat.
Now James will team up with Cavs All-Star Kyrie Irving and the team's young core, to try to bring a championship to Cleveland.
