Keep Fireworks Fun

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Not all that many years ago it was very difficult to purchase fireworks but, even with the difficulty in getting fireworks, many people with very little experience using them had near misses or actual injuries - sustaining severe burns and even the loss of fingers and terrible disfiguring damage.
Today it is very easy to get fireworks and there is no doubt there is even greater potential for problems.
But there don't have to be problems. In experienced hands, fireworks can be safe and a source of great excitement. This Independence Day remember that an experienced adult needs to be in charge of the fireworks.
