Biden is promising to choose a woman to run for vice president.

CBS News reports the list of Biden's potential running mates includes:
- Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar
- California Sen. Kamala Harris
- Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren
- Nevada Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto
- Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer
- New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham
- Former Georgia State Rep. Stacey Abrams
- Wisconsin Sen. Tammy Baldwin
- Illinois Sen. Tammy Duckworth
- Florida Congresswoman Val Demings
- Former National Security Adviser Susan Rice
- Former Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates
- Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms
He's also facing pressure from the democratic party to pick a woman of color.
