Joe Banner Tweets About Being Named 94WIP Morning Show Weasel Of Week
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --- Joe Banner is on Twitter and contrary to popular belief, his tweets are actually pretty funny.
As you probably know, every Friday the 94WIP Morning Show announces their winner and weasel of the week. Our old buddy Banner might be the all-time winner, or loser, of 94WIP Morning Show weasel of the week and don't think he doesn't know it.
On Friday, after 94WIP's Ike Reese was nominated for his tongue-and-cheek, Reese tweeted, "I've truly arrived in this sports broadcasting business! I was just nominated for "Weasel Of The Week" on @WIPMorningShow, haha #RisingStar"
Banner replied to Reese's tweet with, "I have been there many times, never thought it meant I had made it. Love your optimism."
Rhea Hughes read the exchange on the air during the show and Banner felt honored.
