Jim Schwartz Is In Philadelphia Discussing Defensive Coordinator Position With Eagles

Schwartz was a defensive coordinator for eight years with the Titans and in 2014 with the Bills.
In between those stints, Schwartz was the head coach of the Lions for five seasons. During that time, Schwartz help to lead a defense that featured Ndamukong Suh, an imposing force on the defensive line.
One of the strengths of the Eagles defense is the defensive line depth lead by pro bowl defensive end Fletcher Cox.
Schwartz has had success over his career with a 4-3 defensive scheme, including variations of the Wide-9. The Eagles ran a 3-4 defensive scheme under Chip Kelly and Billy Davis.
