IKEA Looking Into Letting Customers Rent Furniture

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- IKEA is looking into the possibility of letting customers rent furniture rather than buy it. The Swedish company is expanding tests to allow customers to lease desks and sofas.
The furniture maker wants to shift away from selling low-cost disposable furniture because of growing environmental concerns.
IKEA says many young shoppers want to minimize their impact on the environment.
