Police: 2 Suspects In Custody Following I-95 Stolen Car Chase
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police say two suspects are in custody following a stolen car pursuit that ended in South Philadelphia on Thursday afternoon.
Officials tell CBS3 that Chester Township police were tracking a stolen vehicle when a pursuit ensued.
Officers followed the suspect into South Philadelphia where the chase ended at East Oregon Avenue and South Columbus Boulevard.
"I seen cop cars flying down Christopher Columbus Boulevard and the Hummer it was like a white Hummer in the middle of the highway and the door flung open and I wasn't sure exactly where the man went," said Ivan Villante, who witnessed the chaos unfold.

According to police that vehicle became lodged in the center train tracks after being involved in a crash with several police vehicles. A Pennsylvania State Police trooper was taken to Taylor Hospital for precautionary reasons.
A female passenger was taken into custody while witnesses say the male driver fled on foot into the nearby Pier 1 Store, where he too was taken into custody shortly after.
"The detective told me that he was in Philadelphia and that he would bring the car back on Thursday," Susan told CBS Philly.
Susan lives in New York State and earlier this month she reported her white Hummer stolen. The tags match what was on the car involved in the pursuit and crash here in Philadelphia.

She is now filled with sadness and disbelief over the fate of her stolen vehicle and the mayhem it was involved with.
"I'm astonished. I'm astonished. I'm disabled. I'm alone in my house and now I find this out," she said.
