The Threat Of Showers And Thunderstorms Continues This Week

By Justin Drabick and Kathy Orr

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A stalled front will linger over our area Tuesday keeping the threat of showers, storms, and localized flooding, especially in the afternoon.

Wednesday will be a bit drier, but it will stay warm and humid, with Highs in the mid-80s.

There will be a better chance of showers and storms Thursday and Friday as another storm system moves through.

High temperatures will remain at or above average in the low to mid 80s through the rest of the week.

The humidity will stay high as southerly winds keep a warm, moist air mass over us.

This will help fuel any showers and storms with some heavy downpours.

Quieter, more comfortable conditions will return for the upcoming weekend.
