'Hot Felon' Shares First Modeling Headshot After Jail Release

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- You may not remember the name Jeremy Meeks but you'll definitely remember his face.

Back in 2014 his blue-eyed mugshot was all over social media and Meeks, who was 30 at the time, was quickly dubbed "the hot felon."

Now out of jail, Meeks is pursuing a modeling career and shared his first professional headshot in an Instagram post.

 

The modeling agency Meeks signed with, White Cross Management, also posted the photo of Meeks in the Warriors snap back on their Facebook page. According to reports, Meeks signed with them while still behind bars.

But it was the Stockton police department who arguably gave Meeks his "big break" when they arrested him on felony weapon charges in June 2014 and first shared his mugshot on Facebook.
