Large Fire At Abandoned Building In Hockessin Was Intentionally Set, Officials Say
HOCKESSIN, Del. (CBS) -- A huge fire in an abandoned building in New Castle County was intentionally set, the Delaware State Fire Marshal's Office says. They say the fire at the old National Vulcanized Fiber building on Yorklyn Road in Hockessin was a case of arson.
The blaze rekindled Thursday afternoon before firefighters got it back under control. There were no injuries reported.
Officials say the damages are estimated at more than $250,000.
