Here's How To Throw A Super Easy Super Bowl Party

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --  As we get closer to Super Bowl kick-off, you can score big this Sunday with party food that is a one-pot-wonder and game day decorations made by the children.

If you're throwing a Super Bowl party and you are in need of a party planning quarterback to throw a couple of tips your way, then Renee Patrone of Events By Renee is your golden girl!

She's a party planning expert who knows how to plan the x's and o's of an effortless event.

She suggests making a chili bar for kickoff!

Her chili is a crock pot recipe that stretches for yards with a tomato base, beans, veggies, spices and turkey!

"This is the only cooking that I did, I browned turkey," says Patrone.  "You can also do vegetarian and leave out the meat."

Then put together a chili bar and people can choose to top their chili bowl with items like shredded cheese, sour cream, and green onions!

Patrone gets extra points for using the tomato cans from the chili as a DIY utensil holder that the kids can decorate with paint.

Add pom-poms from the dollar store to vases and you have budget-friendly decorations.

And make sure guests have great seats like bean bag chairs with fun pillows.

Patrone also provides party host helpers you can hire so when you throw a party you can catch the whole game!
