Half-and-Half Weekend
By Geoff Bansen
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Clouds have already begun to overspread the region. Friday is going to be a gray, damp, chilly day. With the sun nowhere to be found, temperatures will struggle to reach 60. For the most part, however, Friday should stay mainly dry. A few sprinkles are possible, but the steady soaking rain will hold off until Friday night and then continue through Saturday morning.
The rain will taper off from northwest to southeast through late Saturday afternoon. Highs will continue to run below average, in the low 60s.
Skies will then clear by Saturday night and Sunday is looking like a nice fall day, certainly the nicer of the two weekend days.
Today's Highs:
Philly - 59
Shore - 63
Poconos - 55
