Guide To Getting To The DNC

Philadelphia is hosting the Democratic National Convention this July at the Wells Fargo Center. What's the best way to get to the historic event? Here are some options:

SEPTA

One of the oldest subway systems in the United States, the SEPTA subway system takes commuters looking to use the Broad Street or Market-Frankford lines or numerous trolley lines to navigate around the city. The Broad Street Line takes commuters right to South Philadelphia which is hosting the DNC.  The stop at AT&T Station is right at the intersection of Broad Street and Pattison Avenue. AMTRAK

AMTRAK is a convenient option for commuters and visitors traveling to Philadelphia. It operates rail service along the Northeast Corridor. Riders can take AMTRAK to 30th Street Station and from there hop on SEPTA's Market-Frankford Line, which connects you to the BSL.

PATCO

Heading in from New Jersey? Simply hop on PATCO High Speed Line into Philadelphia and get off at 12/13 Locust Street in Philadelphia. From there, take SEPTA's Broad Street Line into South Philadelphia. Additionally, if you need to get some work done during your commute, PATCO offers "quiet cars" during the morning and evening rush hours for travelers.

PHILADELPHIA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

PHL is accessible by multiple bus routes with special routes and services for seniors and people with disabilities. In addition, commuters may use the Airport Rail Line train, which offers connections to AMTRAK and regional rail lines. Ground transportation, including rental cars, taxis and shuttles, are also available to get travelers to and from the airport. PHL offers daily and long-term economy parking for travelers.
