Google Service Names Top Halloween Costumes By Area
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Trying to avoid dressing up like someone else at an upcoming Halloween party?
Google has a service called "Frightgeist" that allows you to see the most popular costumes in the area.
In Philadelphia, a superhero rounds out the top five, covering everything from Superman to Wonder Woman.
A witch is in fourth place and Batman lands in third.
The cast of Star Wars is ranked second and first place goes to Harley Quinn. She is the Joker's partner in the Batman comics.
A costume that is considered "unusually popular," at least around Philadelphia is Pope Francis, presumably because of his recent visit.
