Good Samaritan Rescues Neighbor From Burning Home In Chester County
EAST VINCENT Twp., Pa., (CBS) -- A Good Samaritan rescued his neighbor from a burning home in Chester County.
It happened Thursday morning on the 500 block of Vincent Avenue in East Vincent Township.
The Good Samaritan says the victim was able to make it out of the home and onto the porch.
He quickly jumped into action.
"Flames were just coming all the way around the porch. I made several attempts, I couldn't get up. And then finally I just jumped through and threw her on my back. I got her down off. I was really afraid for her," he said.
The neighbor rescued from the home is reportedly going to be okay.
