George Floyd Sculpture Placed Outside Of Newark City Hall

NEWARK, N.J. (CBS) -- Newark now has a sculpture of George Floyd outside its city hall. The 700-pound bronze statue will remain there for at least a year.
Floyd, who was unarmed, was killed last year when former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin pinned his neck to the ground for well over nine minutes.
Chauvin was found guilty of murder earlier this year.
