Fuel Spill Closes NE Extension Northbound Between Quakertown And Lehigh Valley

MILFORD, PA (CBS) -- The Northeast extension northbound between Quakertown and Lehigh Valley was closed due to an accident Tuesday morning.

A tractor trailer struck a construction barrier in a work zone that led to a fuel spill on the roadway.

All lanes were shut down for clean up until around 11 a.m., when they reopened to traffic.

Motorists near exit 56 should be prepared for delays due to slow-moving traffic.
