Freehold Man On Spring Break in South Padre Found Dead
SOUTH PADRE ISLAND, Texas (AP) — Authorities say a 23-year-old New Jersey man visiting South Padre Island for spring break has been found dead in a hotel room.
A news release from the city of South Padre Island that police and emergency officials responding to a call Wednesday morning about an unresponsive man found the body of 23-year-old Gerald Plescia. The man from Freehold, N.J., had been visiting the island with a group of classmates for spring break. His roommates had discovered him unresponsive.
The news release says foul play is not suspected and toxicology reports have been ordered.
