Former President Clinton, Ed Snider Among Those Scheduled To Speak At Katz's Memorial Service

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Former President Bill Clinton is among several guests scheduled to speak at a Wednesday memorial service for Philadelphia philanthropist and businessman Lewis Katz.

Expected to take to the podium at the service are former President Clinton, Senator Cory Booker, Mayor Nutter and Ed Snider, the owner of the Philadelphia Flyers, among others.

Katz, who was one of seven people killed Sunday in a small plane crash in Massachusetts, was known for his support of education, athletics and medicine, as well as for co-owning the Philadelphia Inquirer, which had recently emerged from a long legal battle.

The memorial service for Katz is scheduled for Wednesday, June 4th at 11 a.m. on Temple's Main Campus.
