For 2nd Time In A Month, Portuguese Man-Of-War Washes Up On NJ Shoreline
STONE HARBOR, NJ (CBS) – For the second time this month, a dangerous Portuguese man-of-war washed up on a New Jersey shoreline.
Ann Delaney tweeted pictures of the man-of-war that she spotted on the beach of Stone Harbor.

She sent the pictures to the Wetlands Institute.
Last week, another man-of-war was spotted in Harvey Cedars.
Man-of-wars have highly venomous tentacles that can be as long as 165 feet.
For humans, their sting is painful and sometimes fatal.
Experts warn that even dead man-of-wars can deliver a sting.
