Flyers Visit The Best In The West, St. Louis

By Matt Leon

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Flyers will visit the top team in the Western Conference on Tuesday night as they travel to St. Louis.

The Blues have 107 points heading into this game, but they were beaten last time out on Saturday by Dallas, 4-2.

The Flyers also got the best of St. Louis in their first meeting just a week and a half ago, grabbing a 4-1 decision at the Center on March 22nd.

Philadelphia has 86 points for the season, that's good for third place in the Metropolitan Division. They are two points behind the second-place New York Rangers.

No Kimmo Timonen tonight for the Flyers, the veteran defenseman is out with an upper body injury. Erik Gustafsson will take his place in the line-up.

Ray Emery is expected to get the start in net for the Flyers.

KYW's Matt Leon spoke with Sam Carchidi of the Philadelphia Inquirer about what to expect in this one.
