Flyers Look For Season Series Sweep Of Bruins Tonight
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Flyers will be home tonight to host the Boston Bruins.
Philadelphia will be looking to get back on track after losing back-to-back games. This follows a six game stretch which saw the Flyers go 5-0-1.
Philadelphia enters tonight's game with 48 points (20-17-8 record). They are seven points back in the chase for an Eastern Conference wildcard playoff berth. Boston is currently holding down one of those spots with 55 points (25-17-5 record).
This will be the third and final meeting between these two teams this season. The Flyers have won the first two. Back on October 21st, Philadelphia won, 5-4, in overtime in Boston. Then on January 13th, the Flyers picked up a 3-2 win at the Center.
Michal Neuvirth is expected to get the start in net tonight for the Flyers.
