Flyers Open Critical Homestand Tonight Against Minnesota
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Flyers will play the first of six straight home games tonight as they welcome the Minnesota Wild to the Center.
Philadelphia currently has 63 points thanks to a 26-22-11 record. They are five points out of a playoff spot in the East. Minnesota is 27-23-10 and with 64 points, they sit four points out of a playoff spot in the Western Conference.
This will be the second and final meeting between these two teams this season. Philadelphia won the first back on January 7th, in Minnesota, grabbing a 4-3 decision in overtime.
Forward Claude Giroux will miss his third straight game tonight for the Flyers with an upper-body injury.
