Firefighters Battle 4-Alarm Fire In Delaware County
UPPER DARBY, Pa., (CBS) – A four-alarm fire ripped through a shoe store and forced evacuations in Upper Darby, Delaware County.
The fire was reported Monday at the unit block of S. 69th Street.
CBS 3 is told homes behind the store were evacuated due to smoke.
Officials say the fire was placed under control at about 9 p.m.
CBS 3 is also told one firefighter was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
