Firefighter Injured In Southwest Philadelphia Blaze
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Chopper 3 over the scene of a house blaze in Southwest Philadelphia that left one firefighter hospitalized.
The fire was reported at about 8:11 p.m. in the 8000 block of Lindbergh Boulevard.
CBS 3 is told the firefighter fell and may have suffered smoke inhalation.
The firefighter was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
There is no word on the condition of the firefighter at this time.
Fire crews quickly placed the blaze under control.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
