Fire in Sea Isle City, New Jersey, damages restaurants

SEA ISLE CITY, N.J. (CBS) — Two restaurants in Sea Isle City, New Jersey, were damaged after a fire Wednesday afternoon, according to police.

The fire broke out around 5 p.m. Wednesday in the 4200 block of Park Road in the shore town's "Fish Alley" section. According to police, firefighters put the blaze under control within an hour.

Firefighters battled heavy fire from the building's roof, which was evacuated, Sea Isle City police said.

Two restaurants, Caso Taco and Casino Pizza, were damaged, but police said everyone was able to leave the building. Police said the fire extensively damaged Caso Taco.

Chopper 3 was overhead as crews extinguished the fire.
