Fingerprints among evidence recovered from SUV in connection with Roxborough HS shooting: DA's Office
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The search continues for the gunmen wanted in an ambush-style shooting outside of Roxborough High School that left a 14-year-old boy dead and four others injured last week. The district attorney's office says Philadelphia police recovered evidence, including fingerprints, from the SUV that was found and believed to be used in the tragic shooting.
Tuesday will mark one week since more than five dozen shots were fired at five teenagers leaving the Roxborough High football field, killing one.
In the time since prosecutors and police say they have amassed significant DNA evidence.
Sources say several persons of interest have been developed.
Police say as many five shooters opened fire and that there was a getaway driver.
On Monday morning, the district attorney's office was guarded in front of cameras, opting not to release many details.

"I'm not at will to tell you what that is right now based on things" Joanne Pescatore, chief of homicide at the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office, said "but suffice it to say, they got the best crime scene person to go over that particular car. There were fingerprints found and there was physical evidence."
Nicolas Elizalde, a 14-year-old from Havertown, was shot and killed. A viewing will be held for the victim on Tuesday night.
Four other teens were wounded, with sources saying a 17-year-old and a 15-year-old are the likely targets of the late afternoon gunfire.
Police, late last week, tracked down the SUV believed to have been captured on camera at the scene.
Sources say hundreds of DNA samples were lifted from inside the vehicle as well as three fired cartridge casings.
It's not yet known if any of those casings are a match to bullets found at the scene.
"The detectives are working around the clock," Pescatore said. "I have met with them, I was actually in homicide on Saturday. Working around the clock, search warrants, we're getting closer."
