2 Elementary Schools Evacuated Due To Bomb Threats In Atlantic County

HAMILTON Twp., NJ (CBS)— Hamilton Township Police say threats were placed in four different locations in Atlantic County prompting the evacuation of two elementary schools.

The threats were placed at Unami Boulevard, The Atlantic County Courthouse, Shaner School and Hess School.

The threats began around 10:30 a.m and so far, there have been no devices found at any of the locations.

Students from Hess School have been moved to the William Davies Middle School and will be dismissed from there.

Shaner School students are currently being evacuated to the St. Vincent School and will be dismissed from that location.

Authorities say all students and staff are safe and there have been no reported injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.
