Eagles WR Zach Pascal robbed, assaulted at gunpoint: police
UPPER MARLBORO, Md. (CBS) — Eagles wide receiver Zach Pascal suffered minor injuries after he was robbed and assaulted at gunpoint.
It happened early Friday morning outside his home in the Washington suburb of Prince George's County, Maryland.
Investigators say two people approached him and demanded his diamond necklace.
He was treated on the scene for minor injuries.
Pascal signed a one-year deal with the Eagles.
He caught 15 passes and a touchdown as a reserve player.
CBS News Philadelphia received a statement from the Eagles about the incident involving their WR:
"The organization is aware of the matter involving Zach Pascal. We have been in contact with Zach and are happy to hear he is doing fine."
