Report: Eagles Privately Working Out QB Jared Goff

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Philadelphia Eagles seem to be interested in University of Cal quarterback Jared Goff.

According to an NFL scout, the Eagles are privately working out Goff in Berkeley, California on Monday.

A CrossingBroad.com reader, sat next to Eagles coach Doug Pederson and "GM" Howie Roseman on a first-class flight to San Francisco on Monday.

Goff (6-4, 205 pounds), threw for 4,719 yards, 43 touchdowns, and just 13 interceptions last season at Cal, completing 64.5-percent of his passes.

CBSSports.com NFL draft analyst Rob Rang has Goff listed as the No. 1 QB prospect and the fifth overall best player in the draft.
