Drexel Comes Out On Top Against UNCW, 85-76

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Damion Lee scored 32 points and grabbed a career-high 13 boards to lead Drexel in an 85-76 victory over UNC Wilmington on Saturday.

Lee shot 10 of 14 from the floor, 10 of 11 from the line, and was two short of his career-high points.

Dylan Sherwood hit a 3-pointer with 15:05 left to bring the Seahawks within four points. UNCW then missed its next six field-goal attempts, and Drexel took a 16-point lead, 66-50, with 7:36 on the clock.

The Dragons (7-14, 5-5 Colonial Athletic Association) led by as many as 19 after a Rodney Williams dunk, but went cold over the next 2:24 and turned the ball over three times. Jordan Talley's trey closed the Seahawks within six, 76-70, with 1:50 left. UNCW then missed its next three shots to seal it.

Craig Ponder scored 22 points and Addison Spruill added 19 for the Seahawks (12-9, 7-3).
