Donald Trump Claims Tom Brady, Bill Belichick Are Supporting Him
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Donald Trump says the four-time Super Bowl winning NFL coach and quarterback tandem, Bill Belichick and Tom Brady, are supporting him.
Addressing crowd at a Manchester, New Hampshire on Monday night before Election Day, the presidential candidate claims that Brady has voted for him.
"[Brady] called today and he said, 'Donald, I support you, you're my friend, and I voted for you.'"
However, Brady's wife Gisele said this wasn't true via an Instagram comment on Friday.
"Gisele I heard you and Tom were backing Trump! Is that true?? @gisele," the commenter asked.
"NO!" she responded.
Brady reportedly said on Monday morning that he had not voted yet.

Furthermore, Trump read a letter that he says the New England Patriots coach wrote for Trump to read to the crowd.
"Congratulations on a tremendous campaign," Trump said Belichick wrote. "You have dealt with an unbelievable slanted and negative media and have come out beautifully. You've proved to be the ultimate competitor and fighter."
A report on Tuesday morning confirmed that Belichick did actually write the letter Trump read to the crowd.
