Donald Trump Addresses Supporters In Delaware
HARRINGTON, De. (CBS) -- GOP candidate Donald Trump, after arriving in his campaign helicopter, spoke to thousands of supporters in an arena on the grounds of the Delaware State Fair in Harrington, Delaware on Friday.
Trump, speaking for nearly an hour, slammed his two rivals on trade and immigration policies, leading the crowd in a chant of "build the wall," at one point.
Supporters stood in line for hours outside and then for more than four hours inside the arena, to be part of the rally.
A handful of peaceful protesters stood outside, exchanging words with a few Trump supporters, but there were no confrontations or interruptions at the large, peaceful gathering.
Delaware is one of five states holding primaries Tuesday with 16 delegates at stake.
Trump is the only candidate to make an appearance in the state.
