Man stabbed at Dilworth Park in Center City, Philadelphia police say
A 25-year-old man was stabbed in the face at Dilworth Park in Center City on Monday following an argument, Philadelphia police said.
The stabbing happened just after 4 p.m., according to police.
Police said the 25-year-old man was taken to Jefferson Hospital and placed in stable condition.
According to police, a suspect identified Tuesday as 34-year-old Azariah Ellerba was taken into custody at Dilworth Park without incident. Ellerba is charged with aggravated assault, possessing an instrument of crime, simple assault and recklessly endangering another person, police said.
Police said the 25-year-old told officers the suspect pulled out a knife following an argument and stabbed him.
