PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Center city Philadelphia's newest attraction opened at noon today: the ice rink at Dilworth Park.

The Philadelphia Boys Choir (below) performed as the Rothman Institute Ice Rink was officially opened, on the west apron of City Hall.

The rink will be open seven days a week, through February 22nd, and will also be open on holidays.

"Three dollars for kids, four dollars for adults, so it's very affordable," notes Mike West, CEO of the Rothman Institute.  "They have rental skates if you need them -- I think they're eight dollars."

There's also a learn-to-skate program being offered on Sunday mornings.

You can find more information about the rink at dilworthpark.org.
