Delaware State Police: Road-Rage Incident Leads To Shooting In Sussex County

LEWES, Del. (CBS/AP) — A Delaware man has been charged with attempted murder after a road-rage incident in Sussex County where police say the attacker shot a man who tracked him down at his home. According to Delaware State Police, a man witnessed an SUV driving recklessly down Camp Arrow Head Road late Saturday afternoon in Lewes.

The man followed the SUV and confronted the driver, 28-year-old Kevin Brownlee of Lewes. Police say Brownlee attempted to punch the man and drove off while his victim's arm was stuck in the vehicle.

After the man got free, police say Brownlee tried to run him over.

Police say the victim, a 38-year-old man, then followed Brownlee back to his house, where they got into a fight. Police say Brownlee got a gun from his home and shot the victim, who was able to run off after being struck in the arm and grazed in the head with a bullet.

Brownlee was arraigned on multiple charges and is being held on $168,000 bond.
