Damion Lee Hits Last Second Three To Lift Drexel To 53-51 Win

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Damion Lee scored 21 points, including the go-ahead 3-pointer with 17.1 seconds left, and Drexel held College of Charleston scoreless for the final three minutes to pull out a 53-51 win on Saturday.

Lee's fourth trey, from the left wing, made it 52-51 a possession after he committed a turnover that gave the Cougars another chance to put the game away, which turned into a miss on the front end of a one-and-one free throw. The Cougars (6-15, 1-7 Colonial Athletic) missed their last four shots plus a free throw and had a turnover after Cameron Johnson's 3-pointer at 3:04 gave them a 51-47 lead.

The Dragons (5-15, 3-5) got a free throw from Mohamed Bah with 4.2 seconds left and then Canyon Barry missed a running one-hander from the top of the key as time expired.

Canyon Barry had 16 points for Charleston, which led 28-22 at the half.
