DA: Two Arrested In Deadly Lower Moreland Home Invasion
LOWER MORELAND, Pa. (CBS) – Authorities say two Philadephia men are behind bars, charged in connection with last month's home invasion and murder of a Lower Moreland man.
Investigators say revenge was the motive for the murder of 53-year-old Kevin Brown on September 27th.
According to Montgomery County District Attorney Risa Vetri Ferman, one of the 20-year-old suspects, Naadir Abdul-Ali, was a jilted boyfriend of the victim's 18-year-old daughter.
"He told her he wanted another chance. She refused. He told her if we can't be together someone's got to go. Those were his words," said Ferman.
Investigators say Brown was shot in the neck during a confrontation with the suspects after they broke into his home on Philmont Avenue.
Abdul-Ali and Desmond Smith were arrested last week.
