Dr. David Webner, Co-Director of The Crozer-Keystone Sports Medicine Fellowship Program, was here to speak with us about sports concussions.
Dr. Webner explains to us that you don't have to lose consciousness to suffer from a concussion. There is a higher risk of suffering a concussion as a result of participating in sports.
Parents should schedule baseline neuropsychological testing prior to their children participating in any organized sport.
