1 Dead, 3 Injured In Fire, Building Collapse In Wilmington

WILMINGTON, Del., (CBS) –- Officials say one person was killed and three people were injured, including a firefighter, following a two alarm fire and building collapse in Wilmington, Delaware.
The fire was reported around 10:30 p.m. Monday in the 400 block of Maryland Avenue.
Officials say the fire quickly moved to two alarms with a partial building collapse.
Two women were pulled from the building, although it's unclear if they were rescued before or after the collapse.
Officials tell CBS 3 they were rushed to Christiana Hospital and Crozer-Chester Medical Center. Their conditions are unknown at this time.
The fire was placed under control around 11:30 p.m.
Shortly after 1 a.m., officials say a male victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The medical examiner responded to the site.
Fire officials say a firefighter also suffered a minor injury.
New Castle County medics, St. Francis EMS and New Castle County Collapse Team are assisting as crews continue to search the scene. Public Works are using heavy equipment to clear debris.
The Wilmington Arson Task Force is investigating with the Wilmington Fire Department assisting.
The cause of the fire and collapse are unclear at this time.
