COVID-19 Lockdowns Led To Nearly 2-Pound Weight Gain Per Month, Study Finds
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- If you put on some pounds during the pandemic, you're not alone. A new study found that some people gained an average of nearly two pounds per month when shelter-in-place orders were in effect.
The research looked at nearly 7,500 weight measurements from 269 participants between Feb. 1 and June 1.
On average, participants gained about 1.8 pounds per month.
