Police: Man Wears Devil Mask During Robbery Of NJ Dairy Queen

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – New Jersey State Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a masked man wanted in connection with an armed robbery of a Dairy Queen.

The robbery happened on July 11th at the Dairy Queen in Montague Township, Sussex County.

According to police, the man entered the store, brandished a handgun and demanded money. Prior to fleeing the scene, police say he struck an employee in the forearm.

Police say it is believed that this suspect committed a similar armed robbery on the same day at the Days Inn in Deer Park, N.Y.

The suspect is described as wearing a red mask depicting a horned devil, a black hooded sweatshirt with the hood up, black baggy sweatpants, and grey cloth gloves with rubber palms.
