Connor Barwin: 'Sam Bradford Will Be Here Today'
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- It looks like Sam Bradford will be returning the Eagles sooner than later.
In fact, according to his teammate Connor Barwin, Bradford will be back working out with the team today.
"He'll be here today. I talked to him. He'll be here this week -- he'll be here today," Barwin told Howard Eskin on Monday's 94WIP Morning Show. "I feel like I'm the Sam Bradford like news -- reporting for Sam. But yeah, he'll be here today."

The reference to Bradford's 'news guy' comes days after Barwin told the 94WIP Mike & Ike Show that Barwin will be back "in the next week or two.
"He texted me and said, 'I'll see you tomorrow.' And I said, 'I can't wait man.'"
On Sunday morning, Eskin reported that Bradford has a "good chance" of being in camp this week.

"At the end of the day, all that we really care about in the locker room is who is the best quarterback who is gonna help us win games," Barwin continued. "And I think right now we're excited and we know we draft Carson Wentz, but I think most of this locker room -- or if not all of us -- understand that Sam is our starting quarterback and he's gonna be the best quarterback to help us win next year. So we're all excited to have him back."
Bradford, of course, requested a trade through his agent on April 25th after the Eagles' traded up to pick No. 2 and eventually selecting quarterback Carson Wentz.
"Sam wants the opportunity to try and go someplace and not only be the starter, but also be the starter there long-term," said Bradford's agent Tom Condon weeks ago.
Many are wondering if it was Condon or Bradford himself was fueling this controversial situation?
"I'll let Sam answer those questions and I mean you'll have plenty of time to talk to him," Barwin said. "And I'm sure you and everybody else will ask him that question and I'll let him answer that."
Barwin joked about having to address the Bradford situation twice in the past three days on SportsRadio 94WIP.
"I've got this concert coming up that I'm trying to promote and it actually all kind of came at the same time as the Sam Bradford thing, so I feel like I keep having to talk about him."

NFL reporter Ian Rapoport confirmed Barwin's comments.
