Computerized Medical Records Subject To Cyber Attacks

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - More and more hospitals are becoming computerized and the revolutionary changes are great for healthcare but two articles in the New England Journal of Medicine suggest that many of these hospitals will need to turn to what is called cyberdefense in an effort to defend patient confidentiality and respect their medical history and potentially damaging information.

Don't think there are not people trying to get at these targets. An article in the journal says that in an April cyberattack, a so called "hacktivist" group anonymously launched an attack against Boston Children's Hospital over a controversial child custody case.

This is a very important issue.
