Spring Marshmallow Madness Hits New Heights With 'Peeps Milk'
CARLINVILLE, IL (CBS) – Your favorite neon treat of spring now comes in liquid form.
The Bethlehem-based company behind Peeps, the sugar-coated marshmallow candies shaped like chicks and bunnies, has joined with Prairie Farms Dairy to introduce Peeps-flavored milk.
The sure-to-be sugary-sweet product is set to hit the shelves of stores in the Midwest this March and comes in three flavors: Marshmallow Milk, Chocolate Marshmallow Milk and Easter Egg Nog.
"PEEPS marshmallow is iconic symbol of Easter and springtime, but enjoyment of the product extends well beyond eating the cute treats," said Noelle Porcoro, PEEPS Senior Brand Manager, in a press release.
So far, reaction to the announcement on social media has been mixed:

Prairie Farms says consumers can use their new Peeps Milk in cereal, coffee or as an ingredient in their favorite recipes.
