Christie Takes Another Hit In The Polls, This Time For His Sandy Response

TRENTON, N.J. (CBS) - New Jersey Governor Chris Christie has taken another hit in the polls, this time over his administration's performance in the wake of Hurricane Sandy.
The Rutgers-Eagleton poll had shown Christie's job performance on Sandy recovery at 80-percent when he was re-elected four months ago. Not anymore, according to poll director David Redlawsk.
"Today only 54-percent approve of Christie's efforts, which is down 15 points since January."
Which is about the time Bridgegate broke.
Redlawsk says 36-percent disapprove, up 10 points from the start of the year. But Redlawsk suggests that scandal only opened the door to the media taking a closer look at how Sandy recovery funds were handled.
Now there are some people who once praised the Governor who are questioning things. But Christie's favorability rating remains 49-40 positive, and his overall job performance is also to the plus side at 55-39, both virtually unchanged since January.
