Chilly Couple Of Days On The Way

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Stepping outside this morning, you will certainly feel a difference.

Early clear skies allowed morning lows to drop into the 40s, and although temperatures are warming up, that stiff breeze isn't helping. The rain maker from yesterday has moved away, but clouds and showers streaming down behind it could cause a few spotty showers into the afternoon. Sunshine this morning will eventually give way to cloudier skies this afternoon.

The winds die down tonight, and the skies clear...the two ingredients for cold temperatures. Lows overnight are expected to drop into the 30s. Brrrrr!

Saturday is a sunny and quiet day, although probably the coldest day for the next several. Other than a sprinkle on Sunday, we expect a dry pattern to last through the later part of next week.
