Caught On Tape: State Police Cruiser Struck By Hit-Run Driver In NJ

UPPER FREEHOLD TOWNSHIP, N.J. (CBS) -- A manhunt is underway for the driver who side-swiped a New Jersey State Police cruiser and kept on going.
The hit and run was caught on dashboard cam.
The incident happened at about 10:30 p.m. on October 11th on I-195 in Upper Freehold Township (Monmouth County).
The New Jersey State Troopers pulled a car over for a routine traffic stop.
While both Troopers were speaking to the driver on the passenger side, the cruiser's dashboard camera captured a car traveling in the right lane of the highway side-swipe the police cruiser.
After striking the cruiser, the car kept on going.
The cruiser sustained damage, including what appeared to be its side-view mirror knocked off.
The striking car is described as a silver or white-colored Jeep.
