Caught On Camera: 2 Suspects Try To Burglarize Church In Fishtown
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police are looking to identify two suspects who attempted to burglarize a church in the Fishtown section of the city.
Early in the morning of April 3, an unknown male was captured on surveillance video approaching St. Laurentius Church on the 1600 block of East Berks.
The suspect attempted to pry open the doors with a crow bar while a second suspect acted as a lookout.

After their efforts to enter the church failed, both suspects fled in an unknown direction.
The first suspect is described as a black male, wearing a dark colored Adidas hooded sweatshirt with white stripes down the arms, dark colored pants, white sneakers and a dark colored Jeff-cap. The second suspect is described as a black male, wearing a baseball cap, dark colored jacket and dark colored pants.
Police ask if you see these suspects do not approach them, but contact 911 immediately.
